Rohan Poldervaart
With great love and passion for piano & choir singing, Rohan Poldervaart (The Netherlands) started his career as a choir conductor in 2004. His humble presence and great communication and musical skills make Rohan an experienced and inspiring teacher and musician. After graduating at HKU Music in Education he decided to specialize in Rhythmic Choir Music. He finished his master and post-master studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark (RAMA).
Rohan is currently working as the artistic director at Vocal Statements, a company that supports music education in high schools. He teaches various choir leading programmes at the HKU Conservatory Utrecht, Codarts Rotterdam, and ArtEZ Zwolle. He works internationally as a coach and trainer for music teachers and conductors. Rohan is also the conductor and artistic leader of vocal group The BasZment.
