Artistically interesting and socially relevant projects have one thing in common: they need money to flourish. In every country and for every type of project there are different possibilities to realise these projects or to lobby for them. Inspiring examples and tips will be shared during the round table and will help you to sharpen your way of thinking about fundraising and partnerships.

Jeroen Schrijner - moderator

The life of Jeroen Schrijner (Netherlands) is marked by international music promotion and encounters. He became executive director of the International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf and the music festival of world religions Musica Sacra International in Allgäu in 1995, and director of the Netherlands Choral Institute and its successor institution Unisono in 1999. From 2003 to 2009 he was president of the European Choral Assocation. In 2009 he became administrative director of the Swiss Chamber Choir. In 2011, he co-founded the Zurich Sing-Akademie with Tim Brown. Jeroen is also active in an advisory capacity and as a presenter at several international festivals.

Kathrin Renggli is a highly acclaimed culture management professional, music teacher and choir conductor. Kathrin is director of the renowned European Festival of Youth Choirs in Basel, a well-known meeting point for leading children’s choirs and youth choirs from Europe. She is connected to the globally operating Choral Festival Network in an advisory role and used to head the funding commission of the association ‘Jugend and Musik’.

During his years as president, and later general manager, of the ensemble, he oversaw the production of more than a dozen CD’s, DVD’s and vinyl albums, as well as collaborations with partners like the UEFA, Disney and Renault.
