Parallels in managing professional and amateur choirs and events
Working with professional or amateur singers, it is not always that different. Especially from the manager’s viewpoint. In this dedicated lounge for managers and organisers from both the professional and the amateur field you will meet managers from both worlds. To share experiences and knowledge and to enjoy the company of peers that all work as managers in different posities in the field of collective singing: event organisers, general secretaries, coordinators of networks, managers of choirs and much more.
The lounge is a perfect and informal opportunity to network and get to know all other participants in the event that work in management positions. Please feel free to join!

Laura Lopes
Laura is coordinator of Tenso, the European network for professional chamber choirs. In Tenso Network Europe, the joint efforts and achievements of the most prominent European chamber choirs are combined and disseminated within the context of a growing European network. As of 2017 the network counts 21 members from 17 European countries. Laura is also a member of the Music Commission of Leading Voices 2022.
Sonja Greiner
Sonja is secretary General of the European Choral Association and member project team Leading Voices 2022.
Daphne Wassink
Daphne is a public policy and arts management professional. She served on the board and artistic committee of several regional, national and international organisations in (choral) music. Since 2006, she has been involved with ECA and its festivals. Daphne is president of the board of the Dutch Choral Assocation Koornetwerk Nederland.
