Masterclass Conducting – Mathieu Romano
In this multi-day masterclass, six conductors will work with choral conductor and pedagogue Mathieu Romano and singers from the Netherlands Chamber Choir. The masterclass conducting starts on Wednesday, July 27th, with a short introduction. The final presentation will be on Sunday morning, July 31st.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday the participants will work with sixteen singers from the Netherlands Chamber Choir. The three full days, the introduction and the final presentation are all guided by Mathieu Romano.
Participants need to be selected for this masterclass conducting through an application procedure. Apart from the six active participants in the masterclass, there will be limited space to join the sessions as an audience, see schedule below.

Open sessions for passive participants are limited to Friday 29th 11.00 – 12.00 hrs (Domplein 4), Saturday 30th 11.00 – 12.00 hrs (Domplein 4) and the presentation on Sunday 31st 11.00 – 12.00hrs (TivoliVredenburg-Hertz) Please note that access at Domplein 4 is limited so it is possible you have to wait to get in.
