In this lecture, Lionel Meunier shows you how you lead your early music ensemble from within. Lionel is founder and artistic director of the acclaimed ensemble Vox Luminis. He will show how you can lead early music while performing at the same time. This session provides a blend of topics: history and theory of early music practice, as well as ensemble coaching.

About the session leader

Born in France, Lionel was trained as a singer and recorder player in Namur and The Hague and began his career as a bass in renowned ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Ghent, Amsterdam Baroque Choir, and Capella Pratensis.
