From librarian to producer, a well-functioning choral ensemble needs team members with a wide range of specific skills. As a manager, how do you make sure your organization is running efficiently? In this lecture, Boštjan Usenik shares his personal views on how you can arrange this. As an economist by profession and former president and full-time manager of the internationally acclaimed Perpetuum Jazzile show choir, he has garnered over two decades worth of experience distributing roles and tasks in a team and organizing the work-flow of an ensemble.

Boštjan Usenik

Choral manager and journalist Boštjan Usenik (Slovenia) was one of the driving forces behind what is now the vocal orchestra phenomenon Perpetuum Jazzile. During his years as president and later general manager of the ensemble, he oversaw the production of more than a dozen CD’s, DV’D’s and vinyl albums, as well as collaborations with partners like the UEFA, Disney and Renault.
